E-mail Account in Outlook 2003 |

- In outlook,
go to the tools menu and choose Email
Accounts.
- Click on
Add a new email account or Change to
change an account you have already setup. If you choose
to change an account you already have setup, skip to step
4. Click on Next.
- Make sure
POP3 is selected, click on Next.
- If you
already have an account listed, highlight it and click
on Change, otherwise click on Add.
- Fill in
the appropriate information in the fields and click on
Next.
- Click
Finish.
- You are
done setting up email, click the Send/Receive
button the check your email.

- Open Outlook
Express and click on the Tools menu and
select Accounts.
- You should
now see the Accounts area. Click on the mail
tab, and you should see the following window.
- Click
on the Add and select Mail.
- The setup
wizard should now appear. In the field labeled Display
Name please enter your Full Name as you would like it
to appear.
- Click Next.
- On the
next window, you should see an area for your email address.
Make sure that you have "I already have an e-mail
address that I’d like to use" selected.
- In Email
Address, enter username@hamdard.net.pk
where username is your login id.
- Click
Next .
- You should
now be on the server area of the setup. Please enter the
following settings.
- Incoming
mail: pop.hamdard.net.pk
- Outgoing
mail: smtp.hamdard.net.pk
- Click
Next
- The Internet
Mail Logon screen should now be on the screen. Please
enter the following settings
- Account
Name: username
- Password:
password
- Where username
is your login id and password is your logon password.
- Click
Next .
- Congratulations,
you should now have an internet account setup.
- On the
Accounts screen.
- Click Close.
- To check
for new mail, click on the Send/Recv
button.
- To write
a new message, click on the New mail
button.
